Project Management Training

Transforming Professionals into Effective Project Leaders

Welcome to the Project Management Training

This training program equips participants with practical knowledge and skills to manage projects effectively, applicable across various industries. It is designed to enhance participants' understanding of key project management concepts while providing the necessary tools to lead and execute large projects successfully.

Training Overview

Training Curriculum

Project Planning
Project Planning

This training will explain the concept of scope and how to define it, simulate the creation of a Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) in stages using software such as MS Project or Primavera P6, describe the project planning life cycle process along with key components in making project plans, and provide an overview of these components through a practical model or software applications like MS Project or Primavera P6.

Resource Management
Project Control

Conduct simulations for creating project plans based on life cycle processes, simulate project schedule monitoring and control using software applications, generate S-curves automatically to track planned and actual progress, and develop them to achieve project goals.

Execution and Monitoring
Earned Value Management

This includes explaining the types of resources and cost budgets, describing the life cycle process of budget preparation along with the key components used in project cost budgeting, conducting simulations with software applications on how to create a cost estimate, providing a practical simulation of cost budgeting using software applications, simulating project cost monitoring and control using software tools, explaining what Earned Value Management (EVM) means, calculating Earned Value Management (EVM) based on completed work progress, and creating an S-curve report using the EVM method to forecast project schedule and costs.

Project Evaluation and Closure
Project Risk Management

This training covers an explanation of project risk, the risk management lifecycle process based on ISO31000 and PMBOK 6th edition, simulations using software tools for identifying and assessing risks both qualitatively and quantitatively, an overview of key components in project risk management, the implementation of appropriate risk strategies with initial risk simulations, and the creation of a project risk management report based on the overall project schedule and cost exposure.

Teaching Methodology

  • Presentations of Project Management Theories and Concepts.
  • Case Studies and Group Discussions for Real-world Application.
